I on behalf of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. received the Hall of Fame award for Excellence in Strategy Execution in India

BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING (MECHANICAL)
Passed from VNIT in 1st class with 72.2 percent marks. The college was then known as Visvesvaraya Regional Engineering College or VRCE. Had been a consistent good student. My first semester high marks enabled me to change my branch from Electrical to Mechanical (which was considered then the top branch). Was editor of the college magazine.
DOCTORAL STUDIES
Was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Human Resource Management) by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies on the thesis topic: Process of Creating Achievement Orientation through Co Creation of Vision: A Grounded Theory Study
RECOGNITION AND AWARDS
- HPCL is the only Public-Sector Unit in India to be awarded the Hall of Fame award on Balanced Scorecard Implementation from India. The award was based on the work done and coordinated by me as Head of Balanced Scorecard at HPCL. The award is from Palladium in which Dr. Kaplan (Harvard Business School) and Norton (originators of Balanced Scorecard Concept) are directors.
- His extensive work as an Internal Coach on leadership and visioning has been appreciated by none other than Dr. Peter Senge, Sr. Faculty at MIT Boston and author of the seminal book “The Fifth Discipline –The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization.”
